Containers outbound from Montreal undergoing exit scrutiny from the CBSA
As of March 1, the CBSA has increased the number of export exams for containers leaving Montreal. Containers are being referred to the Entrepôts LaFrance examination facility for a full destuffing and exam. Read more.

Third-party logistics providers (3PLs) were the top players in warehouse leasing in 2022
Third-party logistics providers (3PLs) leased more North American big-box warehouse square footage in 2022 than any other customer category, according to a report published Thursday by CBRE Group Inc. This is the first time that 3PLs have been the top player in the warehouse leasing market since CBRE (NYSE: CBRE) began compiling data in 2012. CN announces plans for new Calgary intermodal transload facility
CN, Trealmont Transport Inc. (Montship Inc.) and Kaptan U.S. LLC announced they have reached an agreement to develop a multimodal transload facility in Calgary. The new facility is expected to be operational by the third quarter of 2024. Read more.
